To suppress the spatial xenon oscillations in a nuclear reactor, an implementable stabilization scheme is proposed based on finite dimensional compensator theory control for distributed parameter systems. The method applied to one-dimensional reactor whose dynamics governed by one-group diffusion equation with its associated iodine and dynamics. modal decomposition of state variables enables us use pole assignment algorithms developed systems obtain stabilizing gains. This allows estimate states transient using output measurement data arbitrary initial conditions, estimated values. resulting tested model-based through numerical simulations. results show that unstable initiated perturbations can be controlled compensator.
